How much to apply for
Total funding for 2022 is $150,000 and will be allocated by way of individual grants of $10,000, $5,000, $2,500 and $1,000. The Board may also consider grant amounts other than those mentioned above if your specific project requires it.

Preparing your application and documentation
The application process consists of 2 parts: Part 1 - The official Kedron-Wavell Community Grants application form must be submitted as part of the application. The form can be picked up from the Club, downloaded from the Community Grants website or filled out electronically on the website. Find the link for the application form below. Please ensure to submit the reason for your grant application on your organisation's official letterhead (or a letter of authority is required). Any further information or general overview is to be included in the the 300 word submissions and attached with the application form. Any applications that do not contain a 300 word submission will not be considered.

Assessment
We assess your application
The cut off for the 2022 Community Grants Program is Friday 19th August 2022. After this time, all applications will be submitted and presented to the Club's Board of Directors for assessment, review and approval. Applications submitted after Friday 19th August 2022 will not be accepted.

We contact you with an outcome
All applicants will be contacted up to 6 weeks after the closing date. Regardless of the outcome of your application, you will be informed of the result in writing via email.

We contact you with the good news
If you have been successful in receiving a community grant, you will be contacted in writing via the email supplied on your application form. It is important that all details on the application form are correct for this reason. The email will include the outcome of your application, the grant amount you've been successful for and an invitation to the Community Grants Ceremony.

Community Grants Ceremony
Successful applicants are required to attend the Community Grants Ceremony to accept their funding. The ceremony allows for opportunity to meet the Club's Board of Directors and members of management, as well as to mingle with other grant recipients. Recipients will receive 'grant packs' which will include an award certificate and acquittal information.

Receiving your Funding
On the day of the grants ceremony, you will receive the cheque for your funding. It is a requirement of the program that funds are spent within 12 months of receiving them and acquittal form/documentation is supplied. Acquittals are due no later than 31st December 2023.
