How to Apply
Eligibility criteria
Local individuals or community based non-for-profit organisations eligible to apply:
- Groups improving the health and welfare of less-advantaged community members
- Sporting groups that encourage participation in physical activities.
- Educational organisations that foster learning development.
- Cultural groups that promote and nurture the arts
- Organisations that support ex-servicemen and ex-servicewomen and their families.
- Support groups for family and domestic violence.
- Organisations that deliver local community events.
- Organisations advocating for and supporting seniors.
- Groups providing support and advocacy services for mental health and general wellbeing.
- Organisation easing the burden for those living rough.
- Groups providing connection for those experiencing loneliness.
- Servicing the community within a 5km radius of either Kedron-Wavell or The Sands Social.
Organisations eligible to apply not eligible:
- Businesses and other registered organisations for profit making purposes.
- Organisations that raise funds on behalf of others.
- Successful 2023 Community Grants recipients.
Eligible organisations must:
- Request funding for a specific initiative and clearly detail that initiative. Grants are not intended for day-to-day operational costs or to pay insurance.
- If successful, attend an awards presentation at Kedron-Wavell on Tuesday 17 September 2024.
- If successful, complete an Acquittal Form by Sunday 31 December 2025.

Applications can only be submitted online and cannot be made in person or mailed.Once an application is submitted it cannot be amended.

- Provide key contact details for your organisation.
- In under 100 words describe the objective of your organisation.
- Specify the desired grant amount.
- In under 300 words detail the initiative your organisation will use the funds for, including:
- How the initiative will address the needs of the local community.
- How the initiative will be effectively delivered.
- How the initiative represents good value for money.
- How the initiative will address the needs of the local community.
Other conditions
- Successful applicants, including the purpose of grant, amount of grant, any photos and any other relevant information may be made public and used for marketing purposes.
- Successful applicants are to acknowledge the support and contribution of Kedron-Wavell Ltd in all publicity, relevant marketing material.
- Applications may be confirmed as successful with funding deferred at the Club’s discretion.
- The decision of the Board of Directors is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- By submitting the application form, all applicants agree to abide by these conditions.
assessment
All applications are reviewed by Kedron-Wavell’s Board. Shortlisted applicants may be requested to provide annual financials or other information about their organisation.
Applicants will be notified by email by 31 August 2024.
